Monkami is a not for profit disability service provider, which has been operating for 50 years.The purpose of Monkami is to provide each adult quality services and the opportunity for individuals with an intellectual disability to develop skills that will enable them to live with the greatest degree of independence within their own community. These opportuniies include - Work experience with local schools, volunteer training, charity and fundraising activities. Community House programs at local venues. Community based programs at local gyms, bowling, bush walking, tennis, swimming and aqua aerobics, golf, computer education, library, basket ball and garden maintenance. Vocational programs - local business, nursery, and woodwork, document shredding and recycling.
