Moving Home

Simply email us at customerservice@neighbourhood.com.au or phone 1300 764 860 and we will disconnect the electricity at your old house and connect your new one.

Please allow 2–3 working days and ensure we have access to your meter for both disconnection and re-connection. If we are reconnecting your power, please make sure the main switch is turned off.

Providing the meter number at your new home will assist us in connecting your property as soon as possible. Please advise us if you will require a new meter to be installed.

Please note that if your new home has been vacant for more than twelve months you will need a certificate of electrical safety from a registered electrician.

If your house has just been built, please contact us on customerservice@neighbourhood.com.au or 1300 764 860 as there are several safety regulations that need to be complied with before we can connect you. The electricity in your new home will be connected between 8am and 5pm on your requested connection day.

If you don't require a new connection but would like to switch your electricity to Neighbourhood Energy, please complete our online application form.
